Setting-Up The Guides

If you don't already have Photoshop open you need to open it up. Once Photoshop is finished loading open your layout PSD. For this tutorial we are going to use a layout that was designed by Dustin Diaz (community member "Polvero"). Here's our layout:

Well, that's not a website is it? no, just an image. Now, lets begin turning that into a HTML template! What we are essentially going to do is drag "guides" onto our layout so that the main content areas and buttons are in thier own little squares. This process is a little difficult to explain so here's a screenshot of what I've done so far with dustins layout:

You'll notice that the navagation area and the Main content area have guides going through them. That's ok. The main thing is to put all the buttons and content areas in "squares". Finished? Good, lets move on.
