Good afternoon CWM community,

I’m excited to share with you some recently added features which better integrate the main Christian-web-masters.com site with our webmaster community forums.

As many of you may know, I upgraded CWM’s front-end to the Drupal content management system about three months ago.  I have found Drupal to be an excellent content management system for running Christian-web-masters.com. 

As mentioned in the post titled, “What’s New on CWM” future additions to the upgrades would include:

1. Better integration with forums existing users, i.e. the same user management system or at least synchronize profiles
2. Searches on the front-end can include forum topics in the results
3. Forums will include the latest content from the front pages and the front pages will continue and improve upon showing specific new forum topics by category

I’m glad to announce today that two out of the three additions are comple and the third one is on its way. 

So here’s what’s new:

Integrated Login System and Forum Features

Starting today you’ll be able to login to Christian-Web-Masters.com’s main website using your forum username and password.  Once logged in, you will see:

• your forum member bar right on the home page
• along with your avatar at a notice about your personal messages
• list of online forum users
• a list of the latest forum topics (filtered by your forum privileges)
• As you browse the main site by category you will see a list of recent matching forum topics in that category (again, filtered by privileges)

You’ll also be able to post comments to content in the main pages.  I encourage you to try these new features today and post some comments in C.W. M’s article pages and under this announcement.
